Psychological/ Psychoeducational Testing & Evaluation

The Jeff Masarek Behavioral Health Center of Goodman JFS is now offering psychological and psychoeducational testing for clients ages 6-18 who would benefit from evaluation for a variety of possible needs, such as emotional or behavioral challenges, ADHD, Autism Spectrum, developmental delays, learning disabilities, and gifted placement. Personal feedback will be provided, as well as a written report with comprehensive results and associated recommendations. Evaluations are conducted in our Tamarac office by Morgan Levy, Ph.D.

Psychological testing, used as part of a comprehensive psychological evaluation, is a useful tool for identifying causes of difficulties in social, emotional, behavioral and academic functioning and determining an individual’s specific needs. Psychological testing leads to a better understanding of symptoms and allows for a psychologist to provide recommendations for treatment, academic placement and Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for academic accommodations.
