Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost of testing?

We are proud to offer significantly reduced fees compared to those of a private practice (less than half), while still being able to offer the service from an experienced licensed psychologist (not a student trainee), who provides the same high-quality service as a private licensed psychologist.

The cost for a full psychological evaluation is $2,200.00, and the cost for a psychoeducational evaluation is $900.00. If you are unsure which test is right for your child, please give us a call at 954-909-0888 and we would be happy to learn more about your child and help determine their testing needs.

Do you accept insurance for testing?
We do not take insurance directly for testing services; however, we encourage you to contact your insurance company to ask about getting a full or partial reimbursement after paying the fees. We can work with you on completing the required documentation to submit to your insurance company.
How long is the wait?
Our wait time is typically 2-6 weeks from the time you request an evaluation to the time your child is given their first testing appointment.
What does the process entail?
When you call us at 954-909-0888, our friendly and knowledgeable intake coordinator will gather some information to determine the type of testing your child needs. After completing basic paperwork and making payment, we will schedule your first session. Before the session, you can speak with the provider if desired. In the first session, the psychologist will gather background information, decide on necessary assessments, and start the testing if time allows. You’ll discuss and schedule any additional sessions needed to complete the testing with your provider.
How long does it take to get the results?
2 weeks after your child’s final testing session, you will have a personalized feedback session to discuss the results and receive a copy of the written report.
What feedback do I get from the results?
The evaluation results will include assessment scores and their meanings. The testing will clarify your child’s abilities, any diagnoses (if applicable) and specific needs.
