Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges and be prepared to provide support. The course will teach you how to apply the Mental Health First Aid Action Plan and provides a certification upon completion.
Ways to Learn
The course is offered to groups in two ways — Full Course or Blended Course.
Full Course: Learners receive their training in an 8-hour instructor-led course.
Blended Course: Learners complete a 2-hour, self-paced online course, followed by participating in a 6.5-hour instructor-led course.
Learn to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among adults. Training is open to staff of community organizations, hospitals, as well as first responders, clergy, lawyers and more. View pdf. Register for training.
