Miguel Fernandez, LMHC
Miguel Fernandez received his Bachelors of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling and Human Services from Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH and his Master’s in Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in Minneapolis, MN. Miguel has several years of clinical experience in various settings, including working with children, adults, and older adults and specializing in working with the LGBTQ+ population and clients who have experienced trauma. Miguel uses a cognitive behavioral approach to therapy, as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in his work with clients.
“Mental health counseling is transformative as long as you are ready to embark on a journey of change. Reconnecting with your authentic self is the most rewarding piece of therapy, and although the journey may be difficult at the beginning, you can finally start living a more fulfilling life. I look forward and I am honored to let me become part of this journey with you.”
