Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cost of testing?
Our fees are significantly lower than typical industry rates, offering costs that are more than 50% less, while still offering high-quality services from an experienced licensed psychologist.
The all-inclusive cost for a psychoeducational evaluation is $900.00, a psychological evaluation is $2,200.00 and a developmental assessment is $2,500.00. If you are unsure which test is right for your child, please give us a call at 954-909-0888 and we would be happy to learn more about your child and help determine their testing needs.
Do you accept insurance for testing?
We do not take insurance directly for testing services; however, we encourage you to contact your insurance company to ask about getting a full or partial reimbursement after paying our fees. We can work with you to complete the required documentation to submit to your insurance company.
How long is the wait?
Our wait time is typically 2–6 weeks from the time you request an evaluation to the time your child is given their first testing appointment.
What does the process entail?
When you call us at 954-909-0888, our friendly and knowledgeable intake coordinator will gather some information to determine the type of testing your child needs. After completing basic paperwork and making payment, we will schedule your first session. Before the session, you can speak with the provider, if desired. In the first session, the psychologist will gather background information, decide on necessary assessments, and start testing your child. You’ll discuss and schedule any additional sessions needed to complete the testing with your provider.
How long does it take to get the results?
2 weeks after all testing data is completed, you will have a personalized feedback session to discuss the results and receive a copy of the written report.
What feedback do I get from the results?
The evaluation results will include assessment scores and their meanings. The testing will clarify your child’s areas of strength and weakness, any diagnoses (if applicable) and specific needs, and appropriate recommendations will be provided.
