LGBTQ+ Terms and Concepts for Allyship in Jewish Life
This FREE training is designed for Jewish communities seeking to create an LGBTQ+ affirming environment for all members. It focuses on building shared vocabulary and awareness around LGBTQ+ identities, and identifying ways in which they can deepen equality and belonging for LGBTQ+ people. At the end of this 60-minute training, participants will begin to:
• Understand the core terms and concepts related to LGBTQ+ identities
• Make connections between LGBTQ+ equality and Jewish values
• Identify overlaps between LGBTQ+ inclusion and disability inclusion
• Learn tools and concrete actions that can increase equality and belonging for LGBTQ+ people
