No one in our community should go to bed hungry.
The Dorit & Ben J. Genet Cupboard, a Goodman JFS food pantry, serves Goodman JFS clients and those in the Broward County Jewish community who have been identified as food insecure, while providing assistance and referrals to anyone who is hungry.
The Cupboard assists:
- Families suffering financial hardships due to job loss, death of a loved one
- Victims of physical, emotional abuse or other crisis situations
- Homebound elderly and unemployed adults who need temporary assistance
Donate or Volunteer
- Volunteer to make food deliveries to seniors and families unable to come to the Cupboard
- Participate in our annual Feed the Need campaign as a sponsor or guest
- Raise funds to purchase items needed to restock shelves
- Support efforts by hosting a food drive or donating non-perishables, toiletries and holiday foods
