During this unprecedented time, the health and well-being of our employees, volunteers and clients is our highest priority. We want to communicate in a timely manner with complete transparency and continue to act thoughtfully and courageously despite the disruption and uncertainty that COVID-19 has brought to our daily lives.
We are navigating this situation with nimbleness, learning and adapting as new information is made available and playing a constructive role in supporting local health officials and government leaders as they work to contain the virus.
We are ensuring that our critical work continues to serve our clients and the most vulnerable individuals in our region in need of our help. We have begun making contingency plans to maintain delivery of critical services.
Following the guidelines of the Center for Disease Control, state and local leadership and our own emergency response committee, events scheduled from now through the end of April are postponed. Updated information will be communicated via email, social media and on our website www.jfsbroward.org.
Likewise, we are taking every precaution to keep ourselves and our staff safe so we can continue to effectively and efficiently serve our community. We offer prayers of healing to those affected worldwide. Please keep yourselves and your families safe by following CDC precautions to stay healthy during this time. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns.
