Adult Mitzvah Projects: Synagogues, Men’s and Women’s groups and many organizations participate in the joy of giving back to the community through Mitzvah projects that benefit JFS.
Children and Teen Mitzvah Projects: At any age, your children can learn the incredible value of giving. Whether by raising funds, spreading awareness, or forming coalitions of other young adults for a specific purpose, participants will learn about the needs in our community and what they can do to help. JFS also encourages participants to find new ways to give and to do what they love at the same time. The continuity and richness of a Jewish education is deepened for everyone involved.
If you are looking for a mitzvah project or have an idea of something you or your organization would like to do, please call the Director of Volunteer services at 954-370-2140. She will be happy to discuss any ideas you may have and help make arrangements.
