| Domestic Abuse | |
Domestic Abuse is a pattern of coercive behaviors used to gain and maintain power and control over an intimate partner. It may include threats, intimidation, emotional or sexual abuse, economic control, isolation, or physical violence.
To help break the cycle of abuse and intimidation, JFS offers services including counseling and case management, educational support groups, referrals to community resources and safe shelters, and support for family/friends of abuse. For immediate assistance, call our 24-hour crisis line at (954) 560-8303.
The JFS Domestic Abuse Program includes KOLOT, voices of caring individuals and community agencies dedicated to ending domestic abuse in the Jewish community through outreach, education and public awareness.
