JFS professionals provide a variety of modalities including play therapy, school consultation and intervention, crisis intervention and trauma debriefing, family counseling for children of divorce, bereavement, anxiety, depression and social adjustment.
Individual/Marital & Family Counseling
At times it is important to have someone to help with the task of problem solving and balancing life's difficult demands. JFS Counselors are trained in many areas, including anger management, anxiety, depression, adult attention deficit and eating disorders. JFS professionals help committed partners to face a wide range of challenges, including issues that arise through life-cycle transitions, finances, family relationships, conflicts with children and teenagers, interfaith marriage, infidelity, job stress, midlife crisis, and issues surrounding separation and divorce.
Group Therapy
Group therapy offers people the opportunity to use the group to process their feelings and learn effective coping skills. JFS has offered groups as varied as bereavement, substance abuse, anger management, eating for success as well as support groups for victims of domestic abuse, separation and divorce, parenting problems and caregiver support. |
