On Wednesday, December 3^rd, 2008 Jewish Family Service of Broward County held its Spirit of Family Tribute Gala at the DCOTA in Hollywood.

The Spirit of Family Award is presented each year to members of the community whose efforts both assist and compliment the work of Jewish Family Service. The award was present to the pillars of our community; Carla Albano and George Cann, Marilyn and Michael Moskowitz and Rabbi Norman and Shoshi Lipson.

Our honorees have consistently shown their dedication to the cause of Tikkun Olam – repair of the world, through their service to others. They have graciously agreed to participate in this forum so that we may strengthen our ability to serve the community.
